It’s looking like another sunny weekend in northwestern Ontario. Environment Canada Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says that after some snowfall today, the sun will be coming out over the weekend.

“Well we’re looking at more snow today, probably ending in the afternoon. Not a lot of snow, between 2 to 4 centimetres today.

“For the weekend, we’re looking at some sunshine for Saturday. Maybe a bit warmer on Sunday with a high of minus 5.”

Kimbell added that Environment Canada is expected temperatures to drop to average seasonal values next week, with highs around minus 13 and lows in the area of minus 22.
