At the Li'l bands tournament in Dryden and Eagle Lake, they're getting close to the final day.
"It's going quite well, so far," said Ziggy Beardy, adding they'd completed 135 games. "The light is at the end of the tunnel."
He appreciated teams showing up on time, especially those playing early morning games. Championship games are expected Sunday afternoon.
Yesterday in Dryden, it was a sweep for Lac Seul, as they won their atom, senior girls, novice, bantam games.
On the other hand, it was a split for Mishkeegogamang, who won their atom and novice games, but lost in peewee, bantam and midget.
Play continues through Monday.
