A Dryden resident and a Toronto resident are both facing a number of charges after a suspicious death investigation in Dryden, and one suspect is still at large and being sought by police.

Police say if you see 19-year-old Nashawn Trevel Beals of Toronto, do not approach him and call 911 immediately. The OPP did not provide a photo of Beals, noting they don’t believe there are concerns for public safety at this time.

The OPP’s statement comes after they began a suspicious death investigation on March 16, once officers responded to a person in medical distress on Dingwall Parkway.

The Dryden OPP says when officers arrived, an unconscious person was being treated by Northwest EMS paramedics. They were later transported to the hospital where the person was pronounced deceased.

The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Kara-Lynn Pushie of Dryden. A post-mortem examination was conducted on March 17 to determine her cause of death, but the results are not being released at this time.

As a result of the OPP’s investigation, they say 34-year-old Shaun Lucas Marco Capovilla of Dryden has been charged with:

- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – methamphetamine,
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – cocaine,
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – fentanyl,
- Fail to comply with a Probation Order,
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm,
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose,
- Careless Storage of a Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition,
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – cocaine,
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition contrary to a Prohibition Order,

Capovilla has been arrested and is currently in custody.

As well, an arrest warrant has been issued for 19-year-old Nashawn Trevel Beals of Toronto. He is facing charges of:

- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – methamphetamine,
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – cocaine,
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – fentanyl,
- Fail to comply with a Release order, other than attend court,
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm,
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose,
- Careless Storage of a Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition,
- Obstructing Justice,
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – cocaine,
