The Falcons faced off against the Eagles on the court this week.  

On Wednesday, the Ignace Falcons visited Dryden High School to battle the Eagles in girls basketball and boys volleyball.  

In senior girls basketball, the Dryden Eagles won the game with a margin of 50-25.  

The score was 10-6 after the first quarter as Kristin March paced Ignace with 4 points in the frame and Kaitlyn Viherjoki had six for Dryden.  

The Ignace Falcons fought hard but with an undermanned team of 5, they fell after playing hard for 32 minutes.  

Kaitlyn Viherjoki and Fiona Cook were the top scorers for the Eagles while Ignace’s Sydney Cloutier and Kristin March brought in the points for their team.  

In junior boys volleyball, the Falcons took 3 straight sets by scores of 25-20, 25-15 and 25-14. 

While at the senior level, the Eagles prevailed with three straight sets with scores 25-20, 25-20 and 25-21.
