Officers with the Treaty Three Police Service responded to the break and enter at a Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation residence on May 13, where the resident suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Dryden Regional Health Centre for treatment, but he later passed away.

The victim has been identified as 56-year-old Gregory George. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine his cause of death. Police say foul play has not been ruled out, but they do not believe there is any threat to public safety at this time.
