Since the conclusion of the federal election campaign, which saw the Conservative party lose 2 seats in the House of Commons, many have speculated on the future of party leader Erin O'Toole.
The party recently held its first caucus meeting since the election and Kenora MP Eric Melillo says the party is united around Erin O'Toole
"The votes we had a really a reflection of how we want to govern our caucus for this Parliament," said MP Melillo, referring to the Reform Act which gives the caucus the ability to trigger a leadership review.
"We are united around him and our team is focused on getting back to Parliament and getting back to work for Canadians and holding this government to account," added MP Melillo.
Parliament is expected to resume within the next month.
